If you are considering participation in a clinical trial you should find out as much as possible about the trial and feel comfortable asking the research team questions about it and the care you will receive during the trial. Plan ahead and write down any questions or concerns you have so that you can discuss them with the research team. Ask a friend or relative to come along for support or ask to take the informed consent to your physician prior to enrollment in the trial.
